We are excited to present the new project from HUF and James Jarvis for 2021. This is the first of two skate focused projects for this Summer that will be offered from today.
James Jarvis is an artist and illustrator from London, whose work encompasses cartoons, comics, minimalism and skateboarding.
After graduating art school in 1995, Jarvis’ first commissioned work was for Slam City Skates and since then he has gained global notoriety for his character and toy designs and work with cult fashion brands. James has worked as a commercial artist for clients worldwide, including Coca-Cola, Ikea, Nike and UNIQLO.
A longtime friend of the brand, we collaborated with Jarvis for a capsule paying tribute to Keith Hufnagel, featuring some of our favourite skate photos of Keith in SF and NYC. The capsule of t-shirts, hoodies and skate decks includes pieces in orange and cobalt blue, a nod to Keith’s favourite New York Knicks team colours. The Hufnagel legacy continues with this capsule, with Jarvis’ hand style capturing the unmistakable style and energy we all love and remember of Keith.
